In 2013, I’ve made myself back to visit U.S. after 13 years I’ve left. I was then introduced to Kambucha drink by one of my friends. She told me all of its benefits. I did not know what it is or what it tastes like. So I had my first Kambucha drink while I was waiting for a bus from D.C. to New York with her.
Grabbed at whole food, the taste is so strong and sharp like sour soda. I like it. I normally like to drink only unsweetened drink like just water or tea without sugar, but this tastes so awakening.
I did not know process of making it but it was clear when my another friend explain me the concept of making it.
Milk [Fermented] > Yogurt
Tea [Fermented] > Kambucha
After he made this comparison, I totally get it.
Recently I went to the Farmer’s Market at Gateway Ekamai and found this homemade Kambucha drink, 80 THB/ Bottle.
This did not taste like the one I had before. It is easier to drink and more suitable for Thai taste since it is less strong and sweeter.
So for those who do not like strong flavor, it would recommend to try this one. They normally open their booth at Farmer’s Market, Ekkamai Gateway.
